East Anglia EMS are an independent Ambulance Service based in the heart of Suffolk, East Anglia. Established in April 2000, the company has been a family managed business from its inception. Over the years we have grown in size and continued to go from strength to strength. With fully operational, permanent bases in both the East of England, and the North East of England we offer a true UK Wide Service. EMS has extensive experience of providing highly qualified medical professionals to both Private, NHS and Event clients, transporting patients both nationally and internationally. Despite our growth & success, the company still retains that personal touch and pride in our work, an ethos that is shared by management and echoed by our employees.

East Anglia EMS staff are trained medical professionals who hold more than just a First Aid Certificate. A high proportion of our staff are Emergency Medical Technicians and HPC Paramedics who currently work within the NHS Ambulance Service, and Pre-Hospital Care Field. These staff come to us with real life emergency experience, where their day jobs have been working the streets of East Anglia and London providing the highest level of medical skills to the public when they need it most. As well as ambulance staff, we also have Registered Nurses and Doctors that frequently work alongside our team of road staff on a regular basis.

EMS is a commercial company, with this in mind, we do not use volunteers, or frontline staff who's experience comes from working for the voluntary sector. Therefore the training, experience and skills of our staff will invariably increase the costs compared to those of the voluntary organisations. As an event organiser the law states that you have responsibility to provide a safe environment for the public attending your event. With our high levels of operational experience and dedicated staff, you can rest assured that East Anglia EMS are able to deal with any situation, in any environment in a swift and professional manner ensuring the safety of the patient and others at all times.

The revised Event Safety Guide (HMSO) states that event organisers must ensure "a competent organisation" is appointed to manage medical services at an event, and that this organisation "should be experienced in the medical management of similar events" (Par. 717, p123)
